You can even go to Second Life, where UCAS have set up an island to offer real advice from real UCAS advisers. But virtually. Um, anyone else confused? Anyway, for real help in the virtual world, head to secondlife.com and put ‘UCAS’ into the ‘places’ search bar.
So, how did you do?
Got the grades you needed? Great! You just need to wait for your uni to confirm your place, which they’ll do in due course. Keep an eye on track, and be patient – it’s a busy time for them. If you’re really worried after a few days, give them a call, but remember they’ll be busy.
Didn’t get the grades you needed? Don’t panic, you’ll be fine. Head to our clearing guide for help and advice. You can also read our Editor's blog on the etc. myspace to see what happened to him...
Not sure? If you’re thinking about changing course, declining a place, or don’t understand UCAS Track is saying to you, head to UCAS.com or call the helpline – you have plenty of options, and there are people who can help you!
When the dust has settled
You get to go to uni, or go travelling, or get a job…in short, you get to head out into the world. Congratulations! Have a good one, and don’t mix gin with red wine. We learned that one the hard way.
